Return Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with your industrial or commercial scale purchase from ScalesForBusiness.com, please contact us and let us know whether you would like to do a return or an exchange.  Returns are only accepted if you have called and spoken with a customer service representative.  Simply returning a weighing scale without a Returned Goods Authorization, RGA, will not credit your account nor credit the scale shipping charges.

When you call to speak with a customer service representative, you will be provided with a return authorization number. In order to receive this number from ScalesForBusiness.com, please have the following ready:

  • Invoice or Order Number of the Scale
  • Item Number and Quantity
  • Reason for Return

After you have provided all the required information, you will be instructed where to ship your scale or balance for return.  You are responsible for all transportation expenses to return the product.   Returns sent C.O.D. will not be accepted by ScalesForBusiness.com.

The customer is responsible for proper repackaging.  Any damaged caused by improper repackaging is the responsibility of the customer.

As the customer, you have 14-days from the date of purchase to return the product.

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (minimum charge of $20) and all outbound and inbound freight charges.  If the return is due to a defective product or shipping error, then no restocking fee will apply.

Once the ScalesForBusiness.com product has been successfully received, it will be inspected.  If the returned product clears inspection, a credit will be issued back to the purchaser.

If you bought a special order product, a return will not be allowed.
