If damage is found upon opening the package(s), notify the the transportation company's office immediately and ask to have the goods inspected. DO NOT destroy or discard any packages or packing materials until the claim is settled. DO NOT return the merchandise to Atlantic Supply. Notify Atlantic Supply of the problem and re-order as necessary. Atlantic Supply is not responsible for shipping damages. Therefore, we must process and invoice replacement orders as a new order. The customer is responsible for all invoices from Atlantic Supply regardless of freight carrier claims.

If a shipment is not received, Atlantic Supply can place a tracer on the shipment and if lost, will file a claim for you. If a shipment fails to arrive in a reasonable amount of time, please contact Atlantic Supply and advise us of the loss. A tracer will be placed to determine the disposition of the shipment. If the shipment is subsequently received damaged, you need to follow the steps outlined above and initiate a freight claim.

Any items that were incorrectly shipped by Scalesforbusiness.com may be returned with proper authorization. Contact Atlantic Supply to obtain an RGA (returned goods authorization) number. The RGA must appear on all packages, shipping papers and correspondence regarding the return. Packages returned without a proper RGA will not be accepted. Obtaining an RGA ensures proper credit to you.

All returns must be in their original packaging, be undamaged, have all parts and be ready for immediate resale.

The customer needs to be present at the time of delivery. If for some reason no one can be there at the scheduled time of delivery, the customer will be charged for the delivery to be returned to the freight carrier. The customer is also responsible for any additional shipping charges that may be incurred.

The time of delivery cannot be predetermined to an exact date and time by Scalesforbusiness.com.
